Aromatics of fresh picked rhubarb, acacia and allspice with a delectibly soft palate of crabapple and plum jam escorted by a lovely mid-palate tannin. This is best enjoyed with a neopolitan sponge cake with boysenberry or mulberry jam depending on availability." - Al & Sam
The name Konpira Maru has something to do with a fishing trawler and a heroin syndicate. You'd have to ask Al and Sam about that. What we do know is they're seriously good at making wine. Minimal intervention, maximum care.
