Taken from a variety of plots at a high alcohol content in excess of 14 due to the strict rules that govern Vin Jaune production. Aging takes place six years and three months after the harvest. The wine is then sold in "clavelins" 62 cl.

Frédéric is one of the best technical producers of wine in the Jura. They are always true to the Jura in flavour and in style with high acidity and lengh of flavour on the palate. Meadow, grilled almonds, white flowers and than big burst of saline and texture on the finish. One of the best value for money Vin Jaune in Australia.

Being a former employee of the Jura body (SVJ) Société de Viticulture du Jura for 10 years, Frédéric Lambert knows the region, soils and vines of the Jura very well. He started buying vineyards around Toulouse-le-Château in 1993 and later set up his own Domaine in 2003. Organic practices have been implemented from the start and he has been tending and planting that way since the beginning as he believes chemicals “massacre the soil!”
