2016 Dominique Belluard Brut Zéro Mont-Blanc

RIP Dominique Belluard. A leading vigneron of the Savoie leaving behind a great legacy. 100% Gringet, a traditional grape of the Savoie, of which only 22 hectares exist in the world. Grown in an old glacial valley where the rocks were ground down by the constantly moving ice to form iron-rich soils. Three years on lees resulting in a rich and textured wine. Delicate aromatics of orange blossom, pear skin and granny smith apple with serious mineral drive on the palate. Powerful and complex.
Varietal: Gringet.
Region: Savoie, FR.
Viticulture: Biodynamic
