Louis & Charlotte Perot farm two hectares of organic vines with a cool, dark cellar in a limestone cave just 30 minutes west of Cahors. They light the cave only with candlelight having decided that electricity would not be used. Sulphur is never added to the wines and they are not fined or filtered. The wines are dark but very fresh and with low alcohols. This is 100% malbec (côt) from a tiny single vineyard in Duravel.
