2019 Vini di Giovanni Chiaretto

Known as 'the shepherd who makes wine', Giovanni tends to less than three hectares, raising his sheep on organic soil punctuated by ancient olive trees from which he makes his own oil. Working strictly naturally with minimal intervention “to capture the magical expression of the fruit and the earth”, even his labels are made from grass. A truly special winemaker. This is mostly vernaccia rossa with a little bit of ciliegiolo. So light and fresh. Wild berries, violet, quite mineral, a little wild. Zero sulphur, too. Chuck it in the fridge and have the best time.
