This white is an aromatic delight that develops a lot of freshness. Bright and fresh, the nose reveals scents of fresh hazelnuts, linden, honeysuckle, acacia on a finely lemony weft. Immediately full, supple and round, the palate is tense over the tasting to offer a more mineral finish.
Isabelle & Jean-Yves Vantey established their domaine in 1998 with just one hectare in Maranges, the youngest appellation in Burgundy named just ten years earlier. Now they farm six hectares biodynamically across 15 different sites in various appellations. The name "Rouges Queues" came from the birds ("red tail", also known as "black redstart") circling around the estate while they restored the old farm buildings.
