Michael Corbett makes the best grenache in the world. This is from the Silver Sands vineyard in Blewitt Springs, planted by Robert Rende and his father over 50 years ago. 50% whole bunch this year. A three-year-old 2200L Slavonian oak foudre, plus two French oak puncheons housed the wine for about 14 months post press, before the wine was bottled without fining or filtration. Powerful.
