"Perfumed Syrah, slinky and soulful, from the Syme on Yarra vineyard in Gruyere. Fermented in all of its unadulterated whole-bunch glory for two weeks, pressed, finished in tank, then transferred to old oak for nine months. It’s a savoury offering perfect for the dinner table, showing incense, cracked pepper, purple fruit tones and a smattering of dried herbs." - Oscar

Oscar Hermann cut his teeth at Melbourne's City Wine Shop before quickly establishing himself as a highly regarded winemaker in his own right. His wines are detailed, precise and truly speak of place, showcasing the vineyards from which he carefully sources his fruit, as well as a vineyard he recently leased in St Andrew with vines dating back to 1995.
