2021 Dormilona Clayface Chenin Blanc

Clayface Chenin Blanc is 100% made in terracotta amphora. Hand-harvested grapes from the Yungarra vineyard in Yallingup were hand-picked and de-stemmed directly into the amphora. The fruit was allowed to naturally ferment on skins for one month. The wine was then pressed off back to the amphora for settling before bottling.

‘Lazy-bones’ winemaker Josephine Perry takes a hands-off approach in the winery, focused on letting the vineyard speak. Organic and biodynamic fruit and zero adds apart from minimal sulphur, her wines express the unique terroirs of the Margaret River and Swan Valley.
