Grown on Bowyer Ridge Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills, at 450 meters elevation. The ‘ramato’ style of wine has a long history in the northeastern wine growing regions of Italy, where the term ‘ramato’ was coined to denote the colour of the finished wine (‘copper’ in Italian).

Matthew Rorick (Forlorn Hope, California) started Songs From Mars in 2017 while working vintage with good friend Jaysen Collins of Massena in the Barossa Valley. This first vintage saw Rorick acquire fruit from both the Barossa and Eden Valleys and the resulting wines catapulted Rorick into the Australian avant-garde winemaking scene.
