Every year we try to maintain an open mind and experiment with different portions of vineyards and with different varieties. Often these experiments make it into our single variety or single vineyard wines. We then blend a portion of all the different experimental wines into one whacky blend, this is what has come to be known as Tom wine. The beauty of this wine is that it's different every vintage. This year the Tom wine is whole bunch sauvignon blanc, full carbonic syrah, and shiraz rose that has been fermented on chardonnay skins. This wine is low alcohol, super bright and changes depending on the temperature.

Bob and son Tom grow and source their grapes in cool-climate wine growing regions of New South Wales to make natural wine in their shed in Blackheath, The Blue Mountains. Franklythiswinewasmadebybob wines are organic or biodynamic and made with humble intention. Nothing added.
