Jean-Baptiste Courdesses is back with another banger!

Pirate is back. 80% merlot topped with semillon from an organically farmed vineyard in Vine Vale, worked without chemicals for over 20 years. Hand picked, whole bunches sent to stainless steel to undergo carbonic maceration for a week. Three days of foot stomping to extract some colour and aromatics. Pressed and sent to an old, seasoned French barrique and demi-muid for élevage through winter. Zero adds. Unfined, unfiltered, no sulphur. ‘Pur Jus’.
