Only 300 bottles of a little first experiment, hopefully to be repeated on a larger scale. This is an amazingly fresh, young and primary Nebbiolo, with softer tannin and monstrous drinkability. The grapes come from a new vineyard Olek just started to lease.
Polish champion snowboarder Olek Bondonio has quietly established a cult following from his old farmhouse in Barbaresco. He farms three and a half hectares amongst the region's top crus, utilising indigenous yeast fermentation and minimal intervention.
