"100% Riesling from the Barossa Valley. This wines is previously know as Outlaw. Had to change the name cause someone had trademarked it. Anyway, picked mid February under pristine conditions, 100% detstemmend In a open top fermenter. Pressed after 2 days to seasoned French oak. Kept on gross lees until bottling. The sandy/loam soil is the beating hart of this wine. Soft nashi pear hints with freshly cut lemons and hints of verbena. Structural mouth feel with gentle tannins that makes you salivate. Koen Janssens started his wine life working as a Sommelier in Belgium and around Europe. He landed in Sydney in 2012 but it wasn't long before he was called to life in the vineyard in South Australia. Koen worked with legends we all know and love such as Anton from Lucy M, James from Jauma. He started Yetti and the Kokonut with Dave Geyer, but it was old mate Pete Schell from Spinifex who suggested Koen get out on his own, and Bink was born in 2017.
