VITICULTURE: Organic
Direct-pressed sauvignon blanc from Forreston, with around 20% Blewit Springs cab franc for colour, flavour and vibe. If you’ve got a minute, let this one breathe. Darker than previous iterations, and better for it, skirting Lambrusco territory (ruby), but tighter around the edges. An acid line from the sauv blanc and blue fruit from the franc hinting at generosity.
'Borachio - a skin for holding wine, commonly a goat's, or a drunkard.' Previously working with James Erskine at Jauma, Alicia and Mark make wine in Carey Gully with fruit sourced from organically farmed vineyards in Mount Compass and Mount Torrens.
