Heavenly hot sauces handmade in tiny batches by Lydia and Mat in Paekākāriki, NZ. The duo are committed to working as sustainably as possible, and their ingredients are locally sourced – their peppers are hand picked, the Kawakawa leaves are from their own garden and the organic apple cider vinegar is locally sourced from Coral Tree Organics. Apostle refuse to use any artificial colours, preservatives, flavours or thickeners, instead relying on fresh produce to create their vibrant and versatile range of sauces. Mat and Lydia cook, fill, cap, label and pack every bottle by hand. With labels inspired by religious iconography and tarot cards, each bottle and its contents is a work of art – in Mat and Lydia's words, "a gift from our hearts to your mouth". Amen.
