2024 Meredith No More Sleeps Red Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon

Fruit forward with it's forest fruit touches, but also with a touch more minerality, an intriguing, green pepper, vegetal touch to it which gives it an added complexity and slight nice bitterness on the nose.

Light and dry on the palate. With a crisp, vibrant acidity, gentle yet grippy tannin.

Merlot was the first fruit in, direct pressed to stainless then finishing ferment in two neutral puncheons. Chardonnay was our second hand pick, which was fully destemmed and put whole into stainless. When the Cabernet was ready and we’d pressed that to make our sister wine- Such Small Hands rosé, we took those “spent” skins and added it to the drained juice from the skinsy chardonnay. Those skins and this method dyes that portion of this blend vibrant red and imparts all those beautful cabernet flavours.

Fermented in stainless. Matured in two seasoned oak puncheons and one newer Austrian hogshead
