The breakdown for this inaugural release is 66% Shiraz, 17% Grenache and 17% Mourvèdre. Half the fruit was sourced from the Bit of Heaven Vineyard in Hilltops, with the balance grown on the Swinney Vineyard in Frankland River. The fruit was fermented as whole berries in small vessels. After three weeks the wine was pressed to two-, three- and four-year-old barrels. It rested for 14 months and was then bottled in-house, unfiltered and with just a small amount of sulphur.
