This year, the vineyard God’s were kinder, giving us fruit with darker berry and a drier mouthfeel. It’s still got masses of dark black plum, dusty and dry tannins, framing the fruit and spice. Although this is a new release and is still quite young, the nature of Tinta Barocca is that the baking spice, leather and green tobacco is already in full swing, yet balanced with the juicy dark fruit.
