2020 Le Coste Bianco
WINEMAKER: Gianmarco Antonuzzi & Clémentine Bouveron
REGION: Lazio, IT
VARIETY: Procanico, Malvasia, Roscetto, Pedino, Vermentino, Romanesco, Ansonica
VITICULTURE: Organic/Biodynamic
"Mostly Procanico with the balance being made up of Malvasia, Roscetto, Pedino, Vermentino, Romanesco and Ansonica from vineyards young and old. A fresher vintage provided more delicate grapes, which were destemmed and macerated for ten days, before being pressed off to old casks for a year of élevage. A gorgeous, pale shade of amber in the glass, this draws you in with gentle notes of citrus zest and minerals, whilst the palate is wonderfully fluid, with just a hint of tannin and great freshness." - Tutto
Gianmarco Antonuzzi & Clémentine Bouveron tend to 14 hectares overlooking Lago di Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe. With vineyards up to 600m above sea level, planted amongst olive groves and chestnut trees, Le Coste is home to a unique collection of microclimates rich in biodiversity. A leading light in biodynamics with a serious cult following.
