Basket-pressed Chardonnay, aged in older oak barriques and topped with Sémillon. More of a true orange wine than anything else we’ve made. Golden-hued with driving acidity, it’s flinty but floral and there’s heaps of citrus pith and citrus oil to dance around your mouth. Chilling adds some apricot jam notes and decanting softens the whole experience very nicely and drifts towards that lighter tannic, tea-like mouthfeel.

We offer a fresh & accessible take on what can be expected from Queensland Wine. Made with exclusively Queensland fruit for our crisp and star-filled nights, these wines are best (in our opinion) served ever-so-slightly chilled, decanted and with good food & friends.
Our Chardonnay, Viognier, Cabernet and Merlot fruit is from Geynyan Country/Leyburn on the Granite Belt whilst the Barbera, Sémillon and Sangiovese is from Wakka Wakka Country/Moffatdale in the South Burnett region. All fruit hand-picked with love, laughter and hard yakka by us and our nearest and dearest. Our cork closures are sealed with charcoal-dyed local beeswax from our good friend Gary of Gary’s Honey.
