"We love orange wine and after years of trial and error, we’re thrilled to be making our own expression. We want the wine to jump from the glass in the freshest possible way, with plenty of bright flowers, zesty citrus and tension on the palate. It's taken time to find the vineyards that best suit our style and to perfect our technique in the winery. Currently undergoing a renaissance, the Riverland is possibly one of the most exciting regions in Australia right now. Initially established as soldier settlements after the world wars, it is now home to some seriously old vines, history and culture." - Pat & Xavier
Both Patrick and Xavier consider themselves ‘vineyard’ guys before winemakers, and they wanted the exchange between winemaker and farmer to be at the heart of Jumping Juice. It manifests in honest farming, with a deep respect for the nuances and rhythms of the site, along with the ongoing quest for inherent drinkability that the duo consider a central tenet in their wines. Above all, Jumping Juice is a prompt to embrace life; simply to be delicious and to act as a catalyst for carousing with the fine folks with whom you surround yourself.
