A Barbera & Sangiovese co-ferment, aged in both stainless VC tank and old french oak barriques. Bold, herbal and spicy. Light and juicy in the mouth but with heaps of depth and form. Cooked plums and cherries like the inside of a good danish tart, with notes of blood orange carried along with the acidity. Loves a bit of chill like a back deck dinner in winter.

Our Chardonnay, Viognier, Cabernet and Merlot fruit is from Geynyan Country/Leyburn on the Granite Belt whilst the Barbera, Sémillon and Sangiovese is from Wakka Wakka Country/Moffatdale in the South Burnett region. All fruit hand-picked with love, laughter and hard yakka by us and our nearest and dearest. Our cork closures are sealed with charcoal-dyed local beeswax from our good friend Gary of Gary’s Honey.
