"The wine is a blend of Poulsard, Chardonnay and Savagnin all harvested from Alice’s vines in the renowned La Mailloche vineyard on the outskirts of Arbois. While she occasionally makes a blends of grapes from different places for a négoce wine she only ever blends estate wines if they are from the same vineyard. From a vintage that was devastated by frost, the fruit that survived was of excellent quality. The grapes had 2 months of maceration (whole clusters) before pressing. It was bottled in June 2020 . It is a very light reddish colour, almost looking like a macerated white wine." - Living Wines

Alice Bouvot started from scratch in 2004, buying a small cellar in the village of Arbois and a couple of hectares of vines in the hills surrounding. She now farms around five hectares biodynamically and harvests grapes from trusted friends all over France. A highly sought-after cult producer.
