Pooks Hill vineyard just outside of Hahndorf. The vines are 35 years old and grown on black sandy soil which lays onto of petrified schist. Rob Surman has been farming organically for the last nine years. Vines are planted all with a south to south west aspect. Whole bunches picked and foot stomped on the same day. Pressed the next morning into tank settled and racked into barrel for fermentation. Cheeky chair dance by the pool.
