Frank Boon is the godfather of lambic. It is truly impossible to overstate his importance - lambic would not be where it is today without Frank, instrumental to the geuze revival and the existence of many other iconic producers.

"This Edition N°5 was bottled on November 14, 2019 and has thus matured for at least one year in our cellars. Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°5 brings us back the typical long, dry aftertaste, yet very full-bodied taste that we are used to from a Boon Black Label. With a very fresh grapefruit touch and light sparkle you can describe the Boon Black Label N°5 as a very elegant, smooth and tender Oude Geuze. In the complex whole you can still notice a light, wine-like oak touch on top of the soft-sour undertone that brings the flavors together in a balanced way."
