90% Arneis from 25-year-old vines at the base of the hill on red clay, balance comprised of Chardonnay; partially destemmed; fermented and raised in for six months concrete then settled for two months in old botti.

Sette is a splendid vineyard in Nizza Monferrato, with five and a half hectares of vines aged between 20 and 75 years. Purchased in 2017 by friends Gianluca and Gino, they set about converting the property to organic farming immediately. Whilst a great array of fruit trees can be found throughout the vineyard, commitment has been made to plant more than 40 old tree varieties of local fruit and tall trees per year. The ‘Sette’ wines are produced with the older vine material whilst the younger vine fruit goes into the ‘Mille Millilitr’ 1Ltr Bottles. This has to be one of the most exciting addresses in Monferrato right now, showing the Barbera grape through the frame of freshness, energy and vitality. Uplifting wines.
