Kongorong, SA. At the edge of the Ellis family’s vineyard are about 20 very short rows of Semillon in front of the beige shed and just 13 km from the beach. The tractor rarely passes through as the 60 meter long make it a very inefficient exercise. Invariably the last pick of harvest and always marked with botrytis.. Directly pressed into Ceramic eggs and neutral oak, and intimately bound to all its lees for a whole year. Texture and electricity. Semillon belongs near the ocean.
