Bernard and his son Arthur farm nine hectares in the small village of Reichsfeld in Alsace, where their family have been vignerons for over three centuries. Certified organic since 2020, however going much further with biodynamics and uncommon vineyard techniques many years before - completely abandoning plowing, allowing wild cover crops which are not mowed but instead crushed and rolled to preserve humidity and promote life and biodiversity. Fruit from very old vines on sandstone-volcanic soil. Hand harvested, naturally fermented with indigenous yeasts, unfiltered. White flowers, lemon cream, sandalwood and pineapple with saline minerality.
