2019 Cretapaglia Forse Sono Fiori

Antonello describes his place like an island cut off from the rest of Calabria and the world. In between two seas (Ionian and Tyrrhenian) and in the middle of two beautiful mountain ranges (La Sila and Pollino). He follows the natural order as much as possible, observing lunar phases and looking for a ‘dialogue’ with mother nature. ‘Forse Sono Fiori’ translates to ‘maybe they are flowers’. 100% guardavalle. Harvested by hand in the first ten days of October. Wild ferment on skins for about 48 hours and refines in tonneau for about eight months. Oxidative, savoury and earthy. Delicate and precise. Only 600 bottles made.
