RIP Dominique Belluard. A leading vigneron of the Savoie leaving behind a great legacy. 100% Mondeuse, a native grape of the Savoie. Once described as an intersection between gamay (juicy, infused), Loire cabernet franc (petrichor) and northern Rhône syrah (black olive, bacon). 70% destemmed and the remainder whole bunch, on skins for five weeks in eight foot tall concrete eggs. Silky and supple.
