2019 Éric Goypieron Trousseau

After quitting his day job at 40 years old, Éric Goypieron bought a house and small winery just near Château-Chalon. After working alongside the iconic Jacques Puffenay and good friend Michel Gahier, he's now a one-man show doing everything himself, farming his two hectares entirely organically and making the most natural wine possible - zero adds, zero sulphur. Éric has also rejected the restrictive Jura appellation, choosing to bottle 'Vin de France' and work just outside the rules. 100% trousseau. Raw and pure, it's dark fruited yet maintains its freshness. Black cherry, blood plum, lifted violet and a whiff of baking spices. Rustic and alive.
