2019 Les Vins Pirouettes Le BRUTAL!!! de Jean-Marc
Borne of a misunderstanding of dialect, the Brutal Wine Corporation is a loose conglomeration of natural winemakers. Once accepted, the winemaker must make a wine that is 'brutal' in some way, being extreme and experimental. The wine must be from one single barrel with no additions at any stage, including sulphur - check the reaper. Extremely rare and limited. A blend of biodynamically grown gewürztraminer, gris, riesling and auxerrois. 100% destemmed, wild ferment, vinified separately, elevage on fine lees for 11 months in traditional large Alsatian foudre, blended one day before bottling. Zero sulphur. This one is from Jean-Marc Dreyer. BRUTAL!!!
