2021 Les Fruits Gonzo

WINEMAKER: Tim Stock
REGION: Barossa/McLaren Vale, SA
VARIETAL: Cinsault, Grenache
VITICULTURE: Organic/Biodynamic
"Good yields equals more good times! Plus a extra little parcel from a McLaren Vale friend and we are flush with Gonzo. Soft cherry red with a youthful pink hue and rubies. Lovely fragrant nose with peony and pink rose florals, raspberry leaf, watermelon, fairly floss, cola spice, plum and cherry. Pure fun! The party continues in the mouth. Only 50% carbonic fermentation this year so it’s a little straighter but hey a change is good. Fresh acidity and fine supporting tannins provide the dance floor for the elegant red and pink fruits to shine with the customary Cinsault pomegranate tang all the way out the door. In or out of the fridge, its party time!" - Tim Stock
