"Made from chardonnay fruit souced at the Mount Compass Vineyard, the vines grow on a north facing vineyard with very sandy soils over sandstone bedrock. We picked the fruit when the ripeness and the acidity worked for an early release wine and direct pressed the whole bunches into a stainless steel tank for fermen- tation. The wine remained on full lees for 2 months after which it was racked into anoth- er tank before bottling at the beginning of September. The wine is light, fresh, crisp and clean. We nd it partularly refreshing with avours of melon, honey dew and lemon rind." - Travis
