Pale straw, it has a nice mix of classic pear fruit and delicate spice and dried yellow wildflowers. Light to medium body its freshness and vitality instantly appealing. Just-ripe flavours of green pear, yellow plum, Meyer lemon supercharged by brisk acidity, despite full malo. Juicy and pithy but very elegant; not even a hint of bitterness. Summer in a bottle!

Amo Vino was born after an eye-opening trip to the Riverland with alternative variety wizz Ashley Ratcliff from Ricca Terra Farms. The potential quality of the fruit we saw was inspiring. With a bit of flair and extra care, the grapes from South Australia's underdog region shine across this range. Today, Amo Vino has been expanded to include the Adelaide Hills with the small range all made by Tim Stock using simple traditional winemaking and minimal inputs.
