Easy to drink, juicy and fun. This year sees Saperavi - picked ripe - from Norton Summit, Adelaide Hills. It was pressed directly and rather than pale and lean, it was looking like a full blown red wine. Cue, Blewitt Springs Cabernet Franc from Lulu's place, just around the corner. We sealed this up in a tank for 2 weeks, for some Carbonic Maceration.

2023 being a cooler vintage meant that post pressing we ended up with, essentially, a rosé. So in this bizzaro world of rosé thats red and reds that look like rosé, we blend! The split is a little over half Franc with the rest made up of Saperavi.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0565/6533/4178/files/5_5c011a08-5951-449c-a5be-03bca1dc0804.png?v=1793146192
