Robe, SA. Syrah from the Beach. A northeast facing vineyard planted on the last undulations of the woakwine range. Underfoot we find beach sand over the limestone and it smells like low tide. You know the ocean is close but you’re not sure exactly which direction. Whole Bunches macerated carbonically over two weeks, crushed and later pressed into fibreglass. Blackberries, Brine and Algae. Bottled without SO2. Decanting recommended, never required!
