Bright yet pale golden in colour, this Picpoul is extremely fresh and evocative of its maritime proximity as sea-breeze and saline notes intersperse with zesty citrus, appleskin and herbs. Hints of peach and exotic fruits come through on the palate which is light bodied and full of vibrant acidity. Owned by environmental stewards Olivier and Floriane Azan, Chateau Petit Roubie is the only certified organic producer in the Picpoul de Pinet appellation in Languedoc-Roussillon.
