Drinkability first and foremost. Yup, ice-bucket-worthy wine here again. Big red cherry, cranberry vibrancy, crisp golden apples, slate minerality, toasted cumin-like spice, fennel fronds - little bit going on but still a brilliantly fruit-driven quaffer.
Touriga Nacional leads the charge with Grenache in support, and the remainder is made up of some Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer. The result is a touch more floral and perfumed than previous iterations, but still firmly in that bright, light, easy-drinking lane we love it for. Violets and dark cherry lift, pomegranate and red plum, a hint of lychee and rose petal from the aromatic whites, white pepper, dried herbs, fennel fronds
