This time as a wild Italian white blend we’re calling Blendo Bianco. Don’t come for me on this. A wild ride of vermentino, verdicchio and fiano. It’s got a soft nose of nashi pear, candied lemon and jasmine. The palate has some nice stone fruit and weight to it, curtesy of the vermentino and fiano, but the verdicchio comes home strong on the palate providing freshness and a steely acidity. A welcome return to blending whites. Blendo Bianco.
