SPÖN is made for trying new things and having fun exploring the possibilities. A hybrid Wine bar and bottle shop where you could browse the shelves in-store, grab a bottle and have it opened and poured by the glass, or explore our rotating 15+ bottle wine, beer & cider board to try each day; a place where you could pop in and try rare, funky and eclectic vinos and crafted beers by the glass or bottle – and enjoy right there.

A concept inspired by the charming, drink-in bottle shops hidden in Melbourne laneways and on the cobblestone streets of Paris.

SPÖN has taken a hands-off approach to the curation of its daily wine list. Aside from a couple of red and white selected by an in-house sommelier, customers have free rein to choose a bottle from the retail section, handover to the bartender to open as one of the by-the-glass options. You will be able to pour cool, rare and exciting wines that that wouldn't normally make it on by-the-glass lists in your standard bars or restaurants, like those by esteemed Jura winemaker Jean-Francois Ganevat but with plenty of fresh, fun and drinkable options at an affordable price.

To pair with your drops, SPÖN has snacks on offer. Expect to find things like charcuterie and cheese boards, tinned fish, potato chips, and more.
