
2017 Freya's Marani Tsolikouri Krakhuna




Ének Peterson is an American cellist who moved to Georgia to study music in 2014 and never left. Falling in love with wine and the country, she taught herself to speak the language, bought a small house at the at the foot of the Imereti mountains with vines but no running water while managing popular Tbilisi natural wine bar ღVino Underground. Shes also a member of Georgia’s Natural Wine Association.
This is tsolikouri and krakhuna without any skin contact, which is fairly rare in Georgian wine, just crushed and pressed straight to qvevri for a few months, bottled by gravity. Complex and intriguing. Zero sulphur!
