Iberieli refers to the ancient people in Caucasus who made wine over several thousand years ago, later becoming Georgians and believed to be the inventors of qvevri winemaking. Zurab Topuridze aims to preserve the rich history and authenticity of the region.
This is 100% chkhaveri. It spends six months on skins before a good five months resting in qvevri. A rosé of intensity, almost a light red, maybe. Wild berries, driving acidity, dried herbs, plenty to enjoy.
