"The 2019 vintage is one that possesses both concentration and elegance. The mouthfeel here is always a delight - racy, light, pure, and saline with dark cherry fruit – always a very sensual wine. The grapes come from the following lieux-dits: Pimentiers, Peuillets, and Planchots that provide for a wonderful young Burgundy with real depth and persistence in the mouth. The old vines no doubt contributing to give the wine a good sappy richness and great silky length. Excellent and will make a magic bottle in 6-7 years if you can keep hands off!" - Andrew Guard

Claude and Catherine’s aim is to produce “vins de plaisir” – wines that are approachable and bring pleasure to all who drink them. Ultimately, Claude says, “you don’t make wine with techniques, you make wine with grapes. If you harvest ripe, healthy grapes, the wines will always be exemplary.
