This is old vine macabeo macerated on skins for four days. Matured on lees for 13 months before disgorgement. Orchard fruit, peach for days, with a distinct nuttiness, think almond. Mineral, fresh, exciting. We love this. You will too. Sulphur free, woo!
Trained geologist and eighth generation farmer, Jordi Llorens is a leading light in Catalan natural wine. Jordi farms around 15 hectares in Blancafort with extremely limestone rich soil, producing expressive, terroir reflective wines without additions of any kind. Pure and precise.
