Pierre Clair took over his grandfather's vineyard in 2006, making wine in parallel to his day job as chef de culture at the prestigious biodynamic Domaine Marquis d'Angerville. His philosophy is simple - whole bunches, old barriques and zero adds (only a touch of sulphur at bottling if the 'test à l’air' is unsuccessful).
Passetoutgrain - a pretty cool Burgundian appellation in which gamay is blended with pinot noir. An exception to the rule for which we're thankful.
