Ruby with a suggestion of orange in the glass, the nose is a ramble of dark fruit and vanilla—think ripe cherries, blueberries and berry compote on brioche— with a delightful baked rhubarby note to boot. Spiced and savoury on the palate (oaky, smoky hints of cured meat, cinnamon and nutmeg), coupled with silky tannins and vivid acidity make this a delightfully easy-drinking wine.
