2019 Partida Creus TP
Description
WINEMAKER: Antonella Gerosa & Massimo Marchiori
VARIETAL: Trepat
REGION: Catalunya, SP
VITICULTURE: Organic
Hailing from Piemonte, qualified architects Antonella Gerosa & Massimo Marchiori purchased an isolated property in Bonastre in 2001, yearning for a simpler lifestyle, to grow their own produce and reconnect with the land. Surrounded by a protected forest, planted with almond and olive trees, interspersed with rosemary, thyme and Mediterranean scrub, the couple soon discovered an abandoned vine of Sumoll, a forgotten indigenous Catalan varietal.
100% Trepat, another indigenous variety. The fruit is destemmed followed by a short 3 days maceration. Fermentation and elevage is in tank where it rests on lees for 8 months prior to bottling.
Dried herbs and kirsch shine on the nose, the palate fluid, snappy and bright. Cranberries and red summer berries intertwined with thirst quenching acidity and fine feathery tannins. Jura esq in its deft touch. Beautiful length, to drink now or to cellar, it will shine.

Come curious. Leave with a new favourite.
We don’t tell you what to drink. You don’t need to know your varietals, regions or vintages, and you certainly don’t need to pretend you do. Tell us what you like, hate, what you’ve tried or curious about — we’ll take it from there. Sometimes the best bottle is the one you didn’t know you wanted.
