2020 Anders F. Steen New Peach on the Block

Former chef, once sommelier at Noma, Anders started making wine in 2013 alongside legendary Jura winemaker, Jean-Marc Brignot. Now settled in the village of Valvignères in the Ardèche, his wines are truly unique and highly sought-after across the world. Grapes and only grapes, no adds, no sulphur. Tiny quantities. 

40% syrah and 30% merlot from estate vines, with some cabernet sauvignon, grenache and cinsault from the Oustrics of Le Mazel. All direct press straight to fibreglass for a very fast and short fermentation. Bottled young and brimming with energy.
